5-year-old with Terminal Cancer Just Wants Some Mail. Let’s Overflow his P.O. box…

Let’s make this young boy’s birthday extra special. I believe miracles can happen. Warrior

Danny Nickerson is 5 years old, but not for long. He’s very excited to become a big 6-year-old this Friday. As happy as this birthday will be, however, it will be hard, too.

Danny has a virtually unbeatable cancer. Doctors have told his family that less than 10 percent of kids diagnosed with his type live longer than 18 months.

So the upcoming celebration will be an emotional day filled with far more highs and lows than a typical 6-year-old’s birthday. And what is he hoping to get for this extraordinary birthday?

Cards.

He loves getting mail.

His mom says,

“He can recognize his name now. When he saw his name on the package from magical fairies on Easter, he was so happy.”

Since Easter, though, packages have slowed down. But now, for his birthday, it’s time to make sure he gets all the cards he could possibly want to read.

    1. Hello,
I hope you’re well today. I’m guessing Shifaa means, love or good health. I need to find me a dictonary which translates. Is it correct to say Turkey and Pakistan speak Arabic? I have a wonderful lady in Pakistan who is Muslim, she’s been very helpful answering my questions about Quran. I have an English trasnlation of the Quran. They aren’t exact translations, close enough. I watched the service that happens in Mecca after Rhamadan last year. There are so many people, it looks like a fun yet sacred time. I was very moved. Have a great day. 🙂

    1. I have ready to go out in the morning. I asked a few people if they new any sports stars celebrities in the area. It would blow his mind if someone that came. I just didn’t have to make phone calls. I received post today. How do I reblogg to the club after I’ve already reblogged to me. I didn’t see a button by comments. The reblog at top of page doesn’t work. My new life as a Chronic Lyme patient officially started today.I left his office with 10-12 new rx’s and a list of about 20 supplements. He said I’m probably at best looking at 12-18 months. He’s a great doctor.I have mostly neurological systems, I have to get a back MRI. The third doctor is going to work on my growing cognition issues. My feet to knees were swollen, they’ve been much worse. He would normally have me go to hospital for Lasiks but he wants the other doctor to see. He said I have about 10 pounds of water on me. I said to myself, I lost some weight. The next month is getting the inflammation down in body and in 4-6 weeks I start antibody treatment. Looks like I will have to hire someone to stay with me during the day. I could close my eyes and touch my nose it took forever. I did the drunk mans walk and was falling over after three step. My new orders are a Gluten Free diet and sleep sleep sleep. He even wrote out a schedule of when to take night time drugs so I’ll be ready for bed at 9:00. I’m currently looking at the Dragon product so I can speak my post and it writes them. He said I have both infections all over my body. Now I know, I think about for a few days then get to work. I already have my basket full at Amazon just making sure I would everything. I didn’t have bed rails as a child, I get to have on bed and sofa now. I have to get my bastard child in so I can go to bed. I’m way pat 9:00 already.
